Is there any way to create a longer dropdown list in Word?
I want to list about 80 items in a drop down list on Word. Is there any way
to do this. I want to be ablt to have a final printout that will not show any box if there is no item selected. |

To my knowledge, using the Forms toolbar, you are limited to 25 items in a
drop down box. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. "V" wrote: I want to list about 80 items in a drop down list on Word. Is there any way to do this. I want to be ablt to have a final printout that will not show any box if there is no item selected. |

I think you may need to go to a UserForm. This requires intermediate vba
skills IMO. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup. Please post replies and questions to the newsgroup so that others can learn from my ignorance and your wisdom. "V" wrote in message ... I want to list about 80 items in a drop down list on Word.
