nonbreaking hypen is shift+ctrl+hyphen, but shifts to underscore
help says to type shift+ctrl+hyphen for a nonbreaking hypen. but
shift+hyphen is an underscor, so the above combination seems to result in an nonbreaking emdash. ho does one get a nonbreaking hyphen? |

A non-breaking hyphen looks like an em-dash on the screen if you
have "Optional hyphens" turned on in Tools | Options | View, but it will print like a normal dash.
