Default text form boxes in footers

I have a form that has refernece cells so that information can be
autopopulated throughout the document. They all are working fine except the
ones in my footers. The text in the text form boxes do show up when I print
however they do not appear in normal view or print preview. Is there a way I
can get them to appear.

Thanks

What kind of forms are you using? Which version of Word?

I think I need to use a STYLEREF form box but I can't seem to get it to work,
but that may not be what I need to do.

Nevermind I figured out what I needed to do, and got it to work! But now I
have one more problem, when I look at this document in print preview and try
to scroll through it, Word skips the pages that don't have text form boxes in
them. That is it only shows the pages with text form boxes in them and not
any of the other pages. When printed all pages do come out, though I do not
know why I cannot scroll through them in print preview.

Any help?

I can confirm what you are seeing in Print Preview with a Word document
protected for forms, at least if I'm using the vertical scroll bar,
including the Next and Previous buttons on that scroll bar.

However, I can show any page of the document if I use the Next Page and
Previous Page buttons on the Print Preview ribbon.

Yes I noticed that I could do that. Do you know of a way though for it to
allow me to scroll through all the pages. Not trying to nitpick, but I will
be sending this form out to many customers so I am just trying to get it as
smooth as possible.

Thanks in advance

I wasn't aware of the issue at all until you told me. I'll post back if/when
I get additional information.

As a follow-up, I'd like to mention that a fellow MVP has also been able to
reproduce the issue, even for an older version (Word 2000). No other
workaround, besides using the Next Page / Previous Page buttons, has been
found.
