Getting rid of zeros in formulas
I'm creating a travel expense form and want some boxes to be able to
auto-calculate. Sometimes it will be filled out in Word, and sometimes as a regular paper form. When I enter the formula, a zero appears if there is nothing in the cells that the formula references. This will make the printed version less attractive. Can I get rid of the zeros? |

You will need a numeric switch something like \# "$,0.00;(S,0.00);" See: http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm the section for suppressing zero dispaly -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word.
