Spacing when inserting date
When I insert the date into a Word template, the program adds a single space
before the date. This only happens on some systems so it leads me to believe it's a setting in Word. (Windows 2000 and XP systems using MS Office 2003) Any help would be greatly appreciated Bill |

No help with your immediate problem because I never use Insert Date or the
keyboard shortcut. I have templates that use a createdate field instead. See http://addbalance.com/word/datefields1.htm for information on the different kinds of datefields and how to format them. For more on the different kinds of templates, tabs on the file new dialog, and locations of templates folders see http://addbalance.com/usersguide/templates.htm. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
