How to align pictures in two-column page
Hello, Could any one help please?
I have 6 pictures (graphs) in one column-page format filling 2 pages. Each is well less than half a page wide (when left aligned). When I change the page format to two-column format, I see that the top left picture in column 1 is not aligned with the top right picture (no. 4) in column 2 and so on. All consequrent pages are then not aligned. This is irritating to the reader. I would like to see and make the pictures aligned on both columns, three at the left and three at the right column. Floating pictures is not an optimum solution for they drift. Many thanks in advance. |

How to align pictures in two-column page
I would use a two-column table. But note that the lack of alignment in
newspaper-style columns may be due to differences in treatment of Spacing Before. -- Suzanne S.
