I have a document in the Word 2000. It has 45 pages, magnitude was 560 kB.I
have corrected a little bit the text , only small corrections, mostly type misprints, and afterwards magnitude has change to nearly 990 kb. How it is possible? |

Martin,
This increase in size is mostly due to one of the following: You have Fast Saves turned on: disable that in Tools - Options - Save tab. If you have versions active turn it off, File - Versions - uncheck "Automatically save version on close" In File - Properties uncheck Preview picture. Check if revisions are present, Accept all changes and turn Track changes off. Also try this, select your document leaving out the last paragraph marker, paste that into a brand new document and save again under a different name. See if the size is reduced. -- Luc Sanders (MVP - PowerPoint) "martin" schreef in bericht ... I have a document in the Word 2000.
