Use the SaveReminder; see
http://gmayor.com/downloads.htm#SaveReminder.

For more on backing up documents in Word, see

Stefan

I check the second url the site seems to be bogus so I suggest you do not
cite it!

The links have the www missing, which can throw an error if you paste into
the browser, but should be OK if clicked from the message. Alternatively use
the correct links:

Use the SaveReminder; see
http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#SaveReminder.

For more on backing up documents in Word, see

Word has no AutoSave. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/AutomaticSave.htm. As Graham has
indicated, his article at http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm has
a link to the SaveReminder add-in, which does provide a way to save
automatically.
