No, but it's always a good to make regular backups in case Something Bad
happens. Do you have an older version of Microsoft Office installed on your computer? If yes, then you have to choose between your older Outlook version and Outlook 2007 because you can only have one or the other, but you can have both older and 2007 versions of the other Office applications. If you want to keep the older versions of Word, Excel, etc., alongside the 2007 versions, then choose a Custom installation of 2007, and choose to keep the older versions in the Installation Options tab. If you have important emails in Outlook, then be sure to back up your Outlook .pst file(s) before uninstalling, just in case Something Bad happens. Ditto with Word's normal.dot template and any custom templates you created, autocorrect list, and custom dictionary if you've extensively modified those. If you think that you may not buy 2007 at the end of the trial then don't
install Outlook 2007. Outlook 2007 is better than the earlier version it replaces, but reverting at the end of the trial could prove a problem. I usually go one step further. If you aren't *seriously* considering the
investment to Office 2007, don't download the trial. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] ~~~~~ How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375 "Graham Mayor" wrote in message ...
