Default Word2003 status bar

One of my users does not have the status bar at the bottom of their word
document that tells them what page they are on, how many characters there are
in the document, ect. Can anyone tell me how to get it back for them?

Default Word2003 status bar

To display the status bar, click Options on the Tools menu, click the View
tab, and then select the Status bar check box under Show.
