Default Viewing Chinese Characters in Word

I have MS Office Pro at work and can view chinese characters in word
documents. I have Home Edition at home and the chinese characters only
appear as "boxes". Is there something I need to enable, or is this feature
unavailable in Home Ed ?

You need to install a font that contains chinese characters.
