Default open file pane defaults to first word document?

When you open a document from within word 2000, I have noticed that if there
are more than 15 folders in the default file location (In other words, it
fills the first column of the open dialog in list view.) The scroll bar will
always move to the first column where the word documents begin. Is there any
way of getting the open pane to default to the start of the folder list? in
other words with the scrol bar on the far left?

Your Comments would be appreciated

Regards

Hi ?B?VGltIFBlbGw=?=,

No, I don't think there's any way to get the File/Open dialog box to change how
it displays when it opens...
