Retrieving replaced file
I was typing a play but hit a button that replaced it. Now the old file name
is there, but the copy is different. How can I go back in time to before the error occurred or somehow get the play copy back? |

How can I go back in time to before the error occurred or somehow get the play copy back? Do you have the option "Always save backup copy" checked in Tools Options Save? If so, look for a file named "Backup of xyz.wbk" containing the name of the original document instead of xyz. It should be in the same folder as the original. If you don't have it checked, now you know why you should. If no backup copy was saved before you trashed the document, that information no longer exists anywhere.
