Default Dot Leaders

In WordPerfect, You can do two things which I cannot find in Word2003.
Dot Leaders: In WP you click "format" "line" "flush right with dot leaders.
You get a nice layout for a TOC.
A line straight across the page: In WP, if you hit ------ and enter, it
will draw the line across the page.
I cannot find either of these functions in Word 2003.

Is there a way to do either of these things?

For the latter, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...tRidOfLine.htm, which explains
how automatic borders are created in Word.

For the former, go to Format | Tab, where you can select from a variety of
leaders for any tab. You can set a right-aligned tab for page numbers in a
TOC, but why not let Word create your TOC for you? See
http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/toc/CreateATOC.html
