Default Spell check error

When I try to use spell check with a specific document I keep getting dll
errors, but then the spell check function works fine with other documents. It
only malfunctions with this one document.

I was wondering if anyone could give any insights on possible problems.

Regards,

can you provide the specific error message, and the version of Word?

My first guess is that part or all content in the document is formatted
with a language property for which you don't have any proofing tools
installed.
