Default full file path in the Word Window title bar

Hi,
I find it difficult to work with multiple versions of a file when Word
displays only the file name in the title bar. I need to see the complete
path. How do I change this setting?

There is no setting, but you can do it using a macro. Take a look at
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/File_Name_And_Path.htm.

Hope this helps,

Create an autopen macro in normal.dot containing the following line

ActiveWindow.Caption = ActiveDocument.FullName
