Default Word (2003) Crashes when PDF Maker Add-In is Enabled

I have a couple of users who do not have the PDF Maker toolbar in Word.
When I look in Disabled Items, the add-in is indicated. However, when I
enable it and close and restart Word, Word crashes. Disabling the add-in
allows Word to open.

While I know that a PDF can be created by printing to the Adobe PDF printer,
we rely on the conversion buttons in order to save files directly into
FileSite, rather than saving locally and then importing.

Any help that anyone can provide on this issue will be greatly appreciated!
