Heading break to odd page
I'm tring to figure a way to get Word to have headings break to the first
available ODD page (thereby ensuring the reader sees a new heading on the right side of a document). Any ideas anybody? Thanx! |

Not automatically.
A Section Break (Odd Page) will force what you want, but while you can add "page break before" as part of the Heading style definition, you cannot do the same with section breaks. You'll have to remove "page break before" from the heading style and insert the odd page section breaks manually. If you have a ton of these breaks to insert, Find & Replace with wildcards might help automate it. http://gmayor.com/replace_using_wildcards.htm On 8/4/05 11:16 AM, "erik_gregory" wrote: I'm tring to figure a way to get Word to have headings break to the first available ODD page (thereby ensuring the reader sees a new heading on the right side of a document).
