Formatting numerical fields merge from Excel
I am mail merging from Excel and the result should have only 1 decimal but
looks like this: Weight (kg): 79.200000000000003 Previous discussions on this board suggested switches, here is what I came up with: Weight (kg): { MERGEFIELD Weight /#"0.0") It does not change the formatting. What am I not seeing? Thanks. Word 2003/Windows XP |

Formatting numerical fields merge from Excel
Hi TC,
It's because you've used a '/' instead of '\'. The double quotes don't help either. Try: {MERGEFIELD Weight \# 0.0} -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "TC2004" wrote in message ...
