How do I transfer autocorrect from Word 2000 to Word 2007?
Use the macro from
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...utocorrect.htm to back up your entries. Then use the AutoCorrect.dotm template (in Autocorrect2007.zip) from http://jay-freedman.info to load that document into Word 2007. -- Suzanne S. How do I transfer autocorrect from Word 2000 to Word 2007?
Download the AutoCorrect.zip file from
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...utocorrect.htm onto the Word 2000 computer, unzip AutoCorrect.dot into your Templates folder, open it, and use its macro to create a document containing all the AutoCorrect entries. Download the AutoCorrect2007.zip file from http://jay-freedman.info onto the Word 2007 computer and unzip AutoCorrect.dotm into the Templates folder there. Also copy the document containing the entries to any convenient folder there. Open AutoCorrect.dotm and use its macro to restore the entries from the document into the AutoCorrect list. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
