My cursor has suddenly stopped working in word 2007, the rest of office is fine.

I can use the static menus on screen with the cursor, they are fine, but i can't navigate through, select, highlight, text on the page or use the cursor in any pop up menu window.

Only thing different was removing Microsoft One-care last week, but i restored back before that install date, which didnt help..

Any suggestions, it's driving me crazy as working in word is all but impossible now..

1. Close Word.

2. On the Start menu, choose Run and type "regedit," (without the quotation
marks). This will open the Windows Registry, which (if you're not familiar
with it) has folders that are navigated just the same as folders in Windows
Explorer (My Computer).

3. In the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder, find the Word Data key at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\W ord\Data

4. The "key" will be a folder named "Data." Delete it. Word will build a new
key upon startup.
