Default Recovering a recent document

Hello,

I was recently working on a document that I had opened as an attachment, and
I forgot to hit save as. Unfortunately, I hit save thinking that I had
already saved it in my file. I am currently using Office Home and Student,
and I have absolutely no idea on how to retrieve my now lost five page school
work, which is due on Tuesday. Can anyone please help?

Even if you have reopened the attachment put the file ID in Run on the Start
menu:
C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files\OLK2

replaicing the last file name with the one you have. You can find that by
opening the attachment again and looking in the search box top of screen.

This is not an elegant explanation, I know, but it worked for me so I wanted
to pass it along.
