Bullet formatting
I think what i want to do is simple but i cant figure it out.
Im just looking to do a bullet list with the details about the bullet right bellow it like so. -bullet text1 text about bullet -bullet level2 level2 text -bullet text2 text about it etc etc... everything i do to make that line of text breaks the bullets and puts a huge gap between the bullets.. |

Bullet formatting
Try using a manual line break at the end of the bullet line, like so - bullet text1[Shft+Enter] text about bullet¶ Pam Justin wrote: I think what i want to do is simple but i cant figure it out. One way is to insert the paragraph marks before inserting bullets. After
hitting the enter key several times to create the paragraph marks, go to first paragraph mark and create bullet, go to paragraph mark below and create text, next paragraph mark create bullet, next text, etc. "Justin" wrote: I think what i want to do is simple but i cant figure it out. It would be easier to make use of styles (at least if you are creating something more than a quick throw-away document). I'd apply a bulleted style to the bulleted paragraphs and a style with a left indent to the "text-only" paragraphs. There are built-in styles (List Bullet and List Continue) that you can modify to suit your needs.
