Updating a value in mulitiple places
I'm using Word 2003 and have a doc with text and a $ amount that appears in a number of places on the page that I need to update from time to time. Wondering if there is a way to update the amount in one place and it will automatically update everywhere else at the same time, a bit like Excel where you can use a formula to point a number of cells to a single cell value?
Thanks Deutz |

Updating a value in mulitiple places
Hi,
I'm using Word 2003 and have a doc with text and a $ amount that appears in a number of places on the page that I need to update from time to time. you can use a bookmark for the first occurance (Insert | Bookmark). In the other places use a cross-reference to this bookmark. For your information: "Repeating Data" http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tip_p...ting_data.html -- Cheers Lisa [MS MVP Word] |
