Default Forms & Mail Merge

I have created a mail merge document using Access as a data source. The
document also has several dozen form fields in it -- check boxes, combo
boxes, and text form fields. I must leave the form unprotected to accomplish
the mail merge.

I turn on protection for the merged letters -- about 250 of them. However,
when I tab through the fields, the text form fields only are ignored. Check
boxes and drop-downs are accessed via the tab key, but the text form fields
are ignored.

The form properties seem OK.

Any ideas on why the text form fields are ignored?

Thanks,
Craig.

Mailmerge and forms are inherently problematic. I expect that your text form
fields are being converted to text, to the result of the field.
