Can I save a Word document in the PDF format so it can be opened with acrobat

Do you have a PDF Writer installed? Try doing a google search for "convert

Current versions of Word don't offer this as a built-in feature (Word 12
will, however). To create PDFs you need Adobe Acrobat or one of its cheaper clones. You can find links to some at http://www.gmayor.com/favorite.htm -- Suzanne S.
