I copied several paragraphs in one document then did a Paste Special in
another document. I selected MS Word Document Object, and checked the
automatic update radio button.

When I've changed something in the original document, the other document
doesn't update.

What am I doing wrong? I'm useing Word 2003 from Office Pro 2003.

Are you updating links in the doc? Like Ctrl+A, then F9?

I tried selecting the paragraphs then F9 in the original doc. Nothing has
changed in the linked doc. Some time ago, I liked other selected paragraphs
and each time I make any change in the original, when I open the linked doc I
get a message about updating. I don't get any message with these 2 new
paragraphs.
