Default New page format

I had Office 2K on my home unit and somehow when my wife saved a letter it
was saved as the New Document format. Therefore whenever I go to write a
document in Word instead of a blank "Document 1" coming up I get the Document
1 with her letter in it. I have tried every way possible to delete this
letter including upgrading to Office Pro 2003 and to no avail. Can anyone
tell me where to find this document and delete it so I can get a blank page
again? Thanks,

Dear Tony T,

It seems your wife, or someone, has changed the default template for new
documents. This is the 'Normal' or 'Blank Document' template. You can
create a new blank document and save it as a template in the template
directory. Name the file 'Normal'. I'm using Word 2002 and the templates
are stored in (C:\Documents and Settings\EMACHINE\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates) the Template folder on my C drive. Or, you can
search your installation disc for the original file, open it in Word and save
it as previously instructed.

If you still need help with this, email me at:
