Default set default view

Some how whenever I open a word document that has come as an attachment in
outlook it opens in read view.

Can not stand read view.

Have looked in various places to change the default view away from read view
to print view, have not found anything.

Does anyone know how to change this automatic default?

Thanks

Default set default view

Tools | Options | General: clear the box for "Allow starting in Reading
Layout."
