Default ctrl+home doesn't go to the beggining of the document...

....instead of that, Select Browse Object turns on (below the scroll bar on
the right side)

Also, at the same time, my favourite way of editing text (select text and
press Delete) doesn't work, I get a question on a status line: Delete the
block? Yes/No

Ctrl+home and delete function normally in other applications such as Notepad
etc, but not in Word.

How do I get rid of this?

Many thanks,
Alex

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two
boxes for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
