Search your hard drive for winword.exe (you'll need to tell Windows to
include hidden and system files). When you find it, create a new shortcut
and drag it to the desktop, Start Menu, or Quick Launch bar.

Follow these steps:

2. Click the browse button to locate WINWORD.EXE
3. The path is your System Partition's - Program Files. E.g.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.EXE"

4. Click Next button - type a name like "Microsoft Word"
5. Click Finish.
6. To add this shortcut in your Start Menu, right-click on your Shortcut -
choose Pin to Start Menu or drag and drop the shortcut to appropriate

If you repair Word from Control Panel Add & Remove Programs flgging the
checkbox to recreate shortcuts, the original shortcuts should be restored.
