Default How do I set up my printer for cheques?

I am trying to find out how to print business cheques using my HP Photosmart
1000 printer. They are individual cheques, business size.

Applications such as Quicken and Microsoft Money are much better suited for
this sort of job, but if Word is all you have, you'll have to measure the
check, measure the distance from the top and left side to each of the places
where you have to insert text, then create a document in a custom size (or
create the document area on a standard paper size by increasing the
margins), then use paragraph formatting, a table, or text boxes to place the
text in the correct locations.

Tom,

The others have recommended Quicken or MS Money. Quicken and Money are for
tracking of your personal financial information. For business, buy
QuickBooks. It will save you time (therefore money) at tax time.

Tom's right - I read the subject line and kind of skipped over the word
"business" in the body of the text. QuickBooks is the proper program.

Any one of these programs, however, will require that you purchase checks
laid out to work with the program; you can't just use checks out of your
default checkbook. I'm sure there are many sources from which to order these
checks, most of which, I believe, are set up either three to a page or one
to a page with one or more stubs that repeat the information on the check.

That's a good point. The OP should have stated whether he was talking
regular checks or some blank forms. (Or we should have asked which.)
