Default +++ Word attachment

With Office 2003 installed, Word attachment will display 3 seconds hanging in
Print view before it fully open in Normal view when double-clicking on it in
Outlook message. Normally it should open in Normal view with no delay. Any
suggestion?

Thanks.

It is bad practice to open attachments directly from e-mail messages. One
day it may bite you. Always copy to the hard drive first and open from
there. The delay is probably a security issue related to your AV software
checking the file. If you are using Norton AV turn off its office plug-in.
