can i add a form field in a header or footer?
When creating a form, i want to add a field into the header so users can fill
out. However, the only way i can get into headers is to remove the Protection. Then i don't see how to add a field. Is it possible? |

No, form fields are not allowed in headers. Place the form field in the body
of the document, and put a REF field in the header to repeat the result. But a REF field in the header will not update automatically; a macro will be
required. For this reason a STYLEREF field is more satisfactory in a protected form; see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/StyleRef.htm -- Suzanne S.
