Heading shading reflected back before a page-break
Messy to describe.
I have a custom Heading 1 that has a shaded background. If I insert a page-break, and begin the new page with that shaded Heading 1, the shaded background strip appears at the page-break on the previous page. See it at: http://padraig.esmartweb.com/Shaded-...Page-Break.doc Thanks Paddy |

You can prevent the shading this way:
Remove the manual page break and apply €śPage break before€ť to your NECA Heading 1 style (via Modify Style Format Paragraph Line and Page Breaks tab) - or, if only some of the NECA Heading 1 paragraphs need to start on a new page, apply the setting locally to those paragraphs only. In general, it is better to use €śPage break before€ť than inserting manual page breaks. For example, manual page breaks may also result in empty pages in a document. -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Paddy" wrote: Messy to describe.
