Why does document in outline6 level lose it on saving?
Using Word from Office 2007 I work on documents in outline level 6, shutting
some parts down to (say) 3, others open to 7 or all levels. When I save all this structure has to be laboriously restored on reloading. This didn't happen in some earlier versions of Word. How can I save the structure? |

Are these numbered outlines? To set up their formatting, see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...Numbering.html. On the other hand, if you are trying to preserve the state of collapsed and expanded levels in Outline view, I think you are out of luck. The setting will be preserved if, within a Word session, you switch to another view, and then back to Outline view, but it will not if you save and close the document. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "ColinStoneman" wrote in message ...
