Default word 2003 is spell checking in spanish..Need to change ...Help

I have a user who only uses word in english and when he hits spell check it
is checking in spanish. I have looked at all the places I could think of to
change
control panel language, office tools-language settings...where else can I
try?????

Default word 2003 is spell checking in spanish..Need to change ...Help

Open a document that has this problem. Press Ctrl+A to select all of
the text. In Word 2003, click on Tools | Language | Set Language |
choose your language | uncheck the "Detect language automatically" and
"Do not check spelling or grammar" boxes | Default | OK. If you are
prompted to save changes to your Normal.dot global template when you
close Word, say yes.
