I have a resume that was created by a resume company. When I download it to
different job sites the bullets convert to question marks........
How do I fix this?

1. You switch the resume company! ;-)

2. In what format did you receive the resume: DOC, DOCX, RTF, something
else?

3. How exactly are you downloading it to a job site (exact steps)?

Actully now that you say that the original completed resume came back to me
as Microsoft works because I didn't have word at the time.
I copied and pasted it to word. Sound like I have to re-type the resume on
word?
If I am on a website and they have an upload button I click upload, or
browse depending on the site and choose my resume from my desk top. When it
downloads and shows me the results the bullets have change to question marks.

No, that's too much. But I would make sure you have correctly setup a
sensible style for your bulleted lists (say, "list bullet", and use a
bullet from the default font) and apply this style to all bulleted
paragraphs before uploading.

I'm not at all a fan of collecting resumes in DOC format (creating,
sure), but I also know you don't want to argue over this with a possible
future employer. :-)
