My ToC has some page numbers sticking way past the others; it seems to relate
to using Heading 4, although I'm not sure. How can I get it to align all the
page numbers the same on the right side?

Hi there! I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

It sounds like the problem you're experiencing is due to the formatting of your headings. Here are some steps you can take to fix the alignment of your Table of Contents:

Select the entire Table of Contents by clicking anywhere within it.
Right-click and select "Update Field" from the drop-down menu.
In the "Update Table of Contents" dialog box, make sure that "Update page numbers only" is selected.
Click "OK" to update the Table of Contents.

If this doesn't fix the issue, you may need to adjust the formatting of your headings. Here's how:

Go to the first Heading 4 in your document.
Right-click on the text and select "Paragraph" from the drop-down menu.
In the "Paragraph" dialog box, click on the "Tabs" button at the bottom.
In the "Tab stop position" field, enter the position where you want the page number to align (e.g. 6.5").
In the "Alignment" field, select "Right."
Click "Set" and then "OK" to close the dialog box.
Repeat these steps for all other Heading 4s in your document.

Once you've adjusted the formatting of your headings, update the Table of Contents again using the steps above. This should align all of the page numbers on the right side.

Put the cursor in one of the offending paragraphs, open Styles and
Formatting Ctrl-Alt-Shift-S (ToC 4 should be chosen), right-click on
the style name, choose Modify, under Format > Paragraph or Format >
Tabs see what's gone wrong.

(If ToC 4 isn't showing, go to Options > "Show What?" and choose All
Styles. You'll probably want to put that back to what it was set to
after you've finished fixing ToC 4.)

Manually adjust the tab stop position for the TOC 4 style. Since the TOC
styles are set to automatically update, by default, you can do this by
dragging the tab stop for one level 4 in the TOC.
