I don't know if it is a smart tag or not, but when I am typing a document,
whenever I type my name, some text appears with a yellow background telling
me to press ENTER to insert. I have went to Tools|Auto Correct Options|Auto
Correct and unchecked the Show Auto Correct Options buttons. I have also went
to the Smart Tags tab on the Tools|Auto Correct Options menu and unchecked
the Label Text with Smart Tags options all to no avail. This is such a
nuisance. How ca I get it to go away.

It is neither a smart tag nor an AutoCorrect entry -- it's an AutoText
entry.

Go to Insert AutoText AutoText. Find your name in the list of
entries, select it, and click the Delete button.
