Default How do I get additional highlight colors in Word

Use shading instead. Select the text you want to shade, go the Format |
Borders and Shading, select the Shading tab, make sure "Apply to" is set to
"Text," and select the desired shading.

As Graham has suggested, if you define a character style with the desired
shading, it will be easier to apply. Alternatively, if you display the
Tables and Borders toolbar, the Shading Color button will apply the most
recently selected shading color.

Is it possible to get additional colors for highlighting in Word? I find

in

the yellow too bright and need a softer shade. Thanks
