Default Protecting/Unprotecting Forms

Tick boxes (with a checkmark) do not work in protected forms. Checkbox form
fields do work in protected forms (but have an X rather than a tick). There
are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in documents /
templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do not. Take a
look at the Checkbox template available at
http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration
of these.

Hi everyone

I really hope someone can help. I'm currently using Word 2000 and
attempting to create a form. Can anyone explain why when I protect the
form
for use and then save the document when I go back into it the unprotect
icon
is greyed out? I've also tried unprotecting from tools and then unprotect
form, but the option is still greyed out.

I also have tick boxes in my form and once the form is protected I can't
seem to click on them anymore.

Thanks in advance!

Cathryn
