Hi ?B?Y2FuZGljZTQx?=,
I was just wondering if anyone might know how to delete an extra page in a
document that was accidentally created. I read the directions and tried what
was suggested, but for some reason it just was not working for me. I was
hopiing that someone might know another way or a shortcut.
Since you don't tell us what the steps were that someone suggested, it's very
hard to know what to tell you as "another way" :-)
What I would do:
1. Make sure the display of non-printing characters is activated -
Tools/Options/View, the "all" checkbox. this way, you'll see paragraph marks and
manual page breaks.
2. Go to the end of the document.
3. Select all the paragraph marks (¶ - backwards "P") up to the text and press
Delete.
4. Check for anything labelled ----- Page Break ----, put the cursor just in
front of it, and press Delete.
