Default Creating a template with delayed header or footer

Carol:

Thanks for the info. The procedure outlined in your link is exactly how I
created my delayed header. However, my original question is not answered.
When I create a letter with my template and move on to the second page, the
header does not display. My past experience with creating a template like
this, the header appeared as soon as I got to page 2. With my new template,
it does not display automatically. I have to go into view headers/footers
to get it to display. The delay header is there, it just does not display
until make it display.

I have created a letterhead template. It contains a header to appear on the
second and subsequent pages only if the letter is longer than one page. This
does not appear to be documented in your knowledge base. I would hope that
you would post it with an answer to a problem I have encountered. The header
does not display even though it exists. By that, I mean that when typing
takes you to the second page, the header should appear automatically. The
only way I can make it appear is to click view header/footer. What causes
the header to be suppressed?
