Default How can I spellcheck a doc without spellchecking its comments?

Sounds like it should be the answer, but when I try this, it doesn't really
work. Best I can tell, my comments aren't in the "Comment Text" text style at
all. They're in the "Normal" style. ? But let me tinker with some more, maybe
I'm missing something....

Have you tried setting the "Do not check spelling or grammar" option

Comment Text style?

I'm using Word 2003. I always run the spellchecker on documents with
comments, and at the end, I'm always checking the comments, which I

never
have to do. I think this is new in Word 2003. Anyway, I don't want

to check
the comments. Is there some way to switch checking off for the

comments?
Thanks,
Linus
