Word 2003, Win XP Pro

If I separate the lines in an address with carriage returns, then highlight
the address and click on the envelope button, it displays only the first line
of the address. If I use manual line breaks instead, everything is
hunky-dory.

Any idea why?

Any idea how I can get Word to recognize the WHOLE address?
