Default Concordance file and Indexing - Part of a document

I have a concordance file that I am using to create an index. It works great

My question: Is it possible to "Mark ALL" for only part of a document,
chapter, or section?

Having never really used concordance files, I'm not sure.

But it's pretty easy to delete them once made. If the resulting XE
fields are all uniform (i.e., start with { XE), then you can select
the glossary, Edit | Replace, search for

^19 XE

and replace with nothing. You may hit "Replace All" and make sure you do
not say "Yes" when Word asks you to expand to the rest of the document.
