Default Please help!! Pesky tracked changes keep reappearing on emailed do

I'm definitely not an expert, but I've noticed the "Accept all Changes"
doesn't work unless I accept all the text in the document first. Not sure why
this is, or if it's a bug, but that's the case on my computer. Are you
selecting the entire document (Ctrl+A) before accepting all changes?

This has happened to me multiple times and is highly embarassing : (

I work on a document with other people, using Track Changes, until it's the
way we want it. I "accept all changes", turn off tracking, get rid of the
track changes toolbar, have a nice, clean-looking document, and save it. I
get out of Word completely. Then I email what I believe is the final version
to another group of people as an announcement, and they tell me that it
arrives with all the track changes showing! When I copy myself, the changes
don't show on the attached document when it comes to me, only to everyone
else.

I've tried accepting the changes multiple times, saving, copying and pasting
into a new document, but nothing works. Is there a fix for this? I tried
emailing it to a support staff member, and having ithem/i accept the
changes and resending, to no avail.

Do I have a bug, and if so is there a way to fix it?
