Macros for Enter Key Disabling - Article ID 211219
I copy/pasted (and redid ina new form, to make sure that I had not erred the
first time) the 4 macros from Article 211219.
The macros were added to an already designed form. The person designing the
form didn't know about the problem of the enter key"screwing' up the
alignment of the remainder of the form.
I tested the use of the macro ona simple new fill-in form and it worked fine.
But when I did it on the real form. I got a halt on the first use of the
enter key.
error: Compile Error: Can't find project or library
the code line that was highlighted was : myfrinfield= in Sub EnterKeyMacro.
I am pretty sure that the problem lies in the Referencing done by the Word
document.
Can anybody help me solve the dilemma. You just cannot stop pi=eople from
pressing the damned Enter key. This whole project is going to blow up if
this cannot be fixed. I am amazed the the program engineers didn't offer an
Enter key turn off behavior as in the older versions of Wor. I know
sometimes there is an need for an additional line - but it would be nice to
have a design ioption.
