Finding the capitals with Find is no problem. Automatically replacing with
the corresponding lowercase letter using Replace, however, is a problem. To
automate this, you would need a macro. The macro would look for a capital
letter following a paragraph mark, then change the case of the capital to
lower.

Thanks, Chris, but I am more comfortable with using "Enter" while I'm
typing,
and am hoping there is a way to "search & replace" when I'm finished
rather
than doing "Shift+enter" while I'm typing....

try using "shift+enter" for manual line breaks WHILE typing. This should

I am writing a poem. I used a paragraph mark for the line break,
then did a search and replace and substituted a manual line break for
the
paragraph marks, but there are still capital letters at the beginning
of each
line. I would like there to only be capital letters after a period. Is
there
a way to do this?
